European laundered linen, tumbled at the mill for softness and a super soft handle. A deep inky blue.
This slubby linen is made from special tow yarn which gives the cloth its nice raw textured appearance. It is the irregular character of the fibre that lends a lovely natural charm to this pure linen. It is produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric.
Newton can be used in the home for loose covers, curtains, cushions, and light upholstery. It is also a great weight for trousers or light weight slouchy jackets.
This would work well for the Strides and Haremere coat and in our Workbook, or a sleeveless Trapeze dress..
A linen/wool double gauze. Pre laundered at the mill to make the softest fabric to ever exist.
This cloth has two layers of linen/wool which are invisibly stitched together. This helps to trap air between the layers, which in turn keeps you very toasty. This fabric is beautiful for dressmaking as well as cushions, throws, curtains and would even make a very cosy scarf.
Dyed the same shade as our popular Boston Fall linen. It has a wash out dye, which means it will get lighter over time.
137cm wide. 78% linen, 16% wool, 6% polyester. Wash on a wool wash at 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry.
